1998 Demonstration Meeting
held on Thursday 10th December 1998 at the Churchgate Manor Hotel, Old Harlow, Essex

Round 1 - Round 2 - Round 3 - Round 4

There was a slightly different format this year; attendees selected a ticket with a table number, at which they had to sit. No more the warm, cosy feeling of comfort for perfumers relying on their favourite evaluators! With 16 fine fragrances, 4 products and 8 speciality compounds and essential oils, we all had to work very hard for our supper. A summary of comments follows.

Round 4 - Fine Fragrances

Unfortunately at this point, having run out of paper and almost time, with tummy rumbling, and worst of all not realising I would be doing the write up, no more odour descriptions were put to paper. For information the following fragrances were also smelled.

A3 Anais Anais
A4 Extreme D'Amarige
B3 Live Jazz
B4 What About Adam
C3 JPG
C4 Innocent
D3 Aromatics Elixir
D4 Lolita Lempika

The meeting was followed by a traditional Christmas dinner, complete with crackers and screaming balloons, much to the amusement of everyone. After the meal, a disco was held, for anyone not too stuffed full of turkey to move!
