The Institute of Art and Olfaction, founded by Saskia Wilson-Brown, runs an annual fragrance award, the Art and Olfaction awards, or Golden Pears. The awards focus on independent and artisanal perfumery, each having a relevant award category. The award ceremony has become a highlight of the perfume calendar and draws submissions from across the spectrum of modern and cool perfumery – the future taste makers.
2017, one of the four awards handed out went to Fathom V, created by BSP past president Julie Marlowe. You can read more about the winners and the proceedings on the awards website. We’d like to congratulate Julie on this well-deserved recognition.
