Probably no other product in the world has been connected with the name of a famous city for so long as Eau de Cologne. In the Rococo period his perfume took the Royal Courts of Europe by storm and laid the basis for the unique worldwide success of his family company Farina. His acceptance of the BSP’s invitation is extremely well timed and coincides with a major exhibition being staged at the International Museum of Perfumery in Grasse about the fabulous history and story of Eau De Cologne. the society is very privileged and honoured to have Johann Maria Farina give an insight into his family history and legacy.
